About the Position:
The Department of Global and Community Health (GCH), located within the College of Public Health at George Mason University is seeking adjunct faculty to teach courses within the Graduate (GR) programs in the Department. Course delivery modalities will primarily involve online for the GR program. Exact courses available to adjunct faculty will vary, depending on Department needs and faculty expertise, but may include public health topics such as global health, One Health, program evaluation, policy and advocacy, and biostatistics.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Academic Department Chair or Director:
Facilitate Class Instruction
Manage Syllabus Materials
Coordinate Curriculum and Course Changes with Course Lead and Academic Department Chair/Director
Evaluate Student Performance
Deliver Course Performance Metrics
Adhere to Protocol Guidelines
Prompt Grading
