About the Position:
The Training Assistant will provide essential technical/instructional support and program support for Executive Education in the Costello College of Business.
Executive Education in the Costello College of Business is committed to meeting the needs of organizations, agencies, and individuals through non-credit executive development programs that are timely, relevant, and cost effective. We strive to facilitate the development, promotion, and delivery of educational and training solutions that complement the academic strengths and expertise of the University. By providing innovative and diversified educational experiences, we enhance organizational effectiveness and economic development.
Primary responsibilities of this role will be assisting with the development and deployment of curriculum in the Learning Management System (LMS), delivery of onsite and online programs to include room set up, participant and faculty support in both in-person and online settings, videoconferencing, and ongoing LMS administration. The Training Assistant must possess excellent customer service skills. This role requires expertise in LMS tools such as Blackboard and Canvas, video conferencing tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and curriculum delivery. Hours are flexible and will vary based on program delivery schedules, to include early mornings and evenings (e.g., 7:00am, 6:00pm) during course deliveries and online support.
