About the Department:
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at George Mason University provides a range of mental health services to support the emotional well-being and academic success of students. CAPS offers individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, workshops, and psychiatric services in a culturally competent and all-inclusive environment. Our team of more than 30 mental health professionals and support staff are committed to fostering personal growth, resilience, and mental health awareness across the university community through professional, confidential, and compassionate care.
About the Position:
This is a 9-month, Part-Time Staff Clinician position. The clinician provides individual counseling and crisis intervention and risk assessments. This part-time role requires a commitment of 16-24 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality psychological services to students from a variety of backgrounds.
