About the Position:
Under general supervision of the Department Chair, the Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be engaged in research and teaching, enhancing both areas of the departmental portfolio. Core responsibilities include interactions with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students inside and outside of the classroom, carrying out collaborative research projects and disseminating the results within scientific community through conference presentations and publications in leading mathematics journals. The position includes opportunities to mentor undergraduate research assistants, share expertise in collaborative research discussions, develop new courses and engage with a vibrant academic community focused on improving research outcomes and undergraduate mathematics education.
This position fosters a dynamic environment for professional growth, offering unique opportunities for leadership development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and significant scholarly contributions.
The appointment begins in the Fall Semester 2026.
