About the Department:
The George Mason University College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), invites applications from highly qualified individuals across all teaching licensure areas to supervise teacher candidates completing internships as part of Mason’s licensure programs. Mason is seeking individuals with licensed teaching experience in the areas of early childhood, special education, elementary, secondary, English as a second language, foreign languages, and health and physical education. About the Position:
University Supervisors will demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based practices to be used in content specific classrooms.
Responsibilities:
University Supervisors will be hired each semester on an as-needed basis and on a per-candidate/credit hour basis. This position is open on a rolling basis, and candidates will be contacted as university supervisor are needed for programs across CEHD. Unlike traditional job postings with set opening and closing dates, this opportunity remains ongoing. Qualified applicants will have their resumes kept on file for future consideration.
